ProfiShark 1G is a portable network TAP designed for field engineers to rapidly capture network packets and perform troubleshooting tasks. It provides fail-safe access to networks for monitoring and long-term traffic collection without impacting network security or performance. The device remains non-intrusive and undetectable by the network, preserving original traffic integrity. Powered by USB 3.0, ProfiShark 1G captures high-fidelity network traffic with 8 nanosecond hardware timestamping at wire speed. It supports in-line and out-of-band deployment modes with PoE passthrough capability. Captured packets can be analysed using Wireshark or any compatible network analyser. The ProfiShark Manager application provides packet slicing, real-time statistics, and direct disk capture for efficient workflow management.
