Complete Hardware Redundancy The OSA 5430 is the first IEEE 1588 grandmaster clock platform to support PTP, NTP, and SyncE across multiple 10Gbit/s Ethernet interfaces while providing full hardware redundancy. If a critical module fails, a standby module immediately takes over, ensuring uninterrupted synchronisation performance and service delivery. Customisable Without Downtime Its modular architecture allows components to be added, replaced, or upgraded without shutting down the system, enabling flexible customisation while maintaining continuous operation. Proactive Synchronisation Assurance Built-in Syncjack™ assurance technology continuously monitors synchronisation performance and provides early alerts, helping operations teams identify and resolve issues before they affect network services. Flexible and Scalable Design The OSA 5430 is designed to support the synchronisation demands of next-generation networks, including LTE-A, 5G, and cable infrastructure. Its scalable, modular design and fully redundant architecture ensure high service availability while eliminating single points of failure. High-Capacity Synchronisation Platform Supporting both 10Gbit/s and 1Gbit/s interfaces with hardware timestamping, the OSA 5430 delivers precise timing for a wide range of modern applications and synchronisation environments. Smooth Migration to Next-Generation Synchronisation The OSA 5430 combines the benefits of hardware redundancy, space efficiency, and scalability to support growing radio access networks. As the industry’s first protected PTP-over-10Gbit/s synchronisation solution, it delivers frequency, phase, and time synchronisation across packet-based networks. The platform supports up to 1024 PTP slaves at 128pps and offers multiple interface options to simplify migration from legacy synchronisation systems to next-generation network architecture.
